Gail is an accomplished financial services executive with over 25 years of experience with Globally Systemically Important Banks. Most recently, she was the SVP, Lead Strategist for TD Bank – a $315Bn dollar enterprise and a recognized top 10 North American Bank. TD Bank, USA is a consumer, commercial, and corporate bank with outstanding customer ratings across multiple business units. Gail has contributed to the economic growth of TD Bank through a series of opportunities leading development of the Consumer and Small Business Target Operating Models, revamping the US Project Management Office, and leading a company-wide project optimization effort which led to delivery improvements across a $500 Million investment portfolio.

Through her work across multiple disciplines, Gail is a trusted business advisor and leader. She has led through multiple economic crises. Most recently, she led the Bank’s strategic response to the COVID–19 pandemic by identifying and addressing impacts to TD USA’s current business strategy. Her work drove strategic changes to marketing, investment, and human capital deployment.

Gail also successfully led during the mortgage crisis. Her project management, quality assurance, and technology testing and deployment teams addressed and implemented regulatory and technology changes for a $1.2 Trillion dollar loan portfolio. The Teams’ work addressed regulatory standards and client needs enabling 400,000 loan modifications for distressed homeowners.

Gail has also played leading roles in driving value for Human Resources and Supply Chain Management where she led Transformations. Her work in HR enabled a shift from a transactional to a modernized strategic function, by creating a Shared Service structure, freeing HR Business Partners to engage in value-add business advisory, establishing a Change Management Center of Excellence and implementing an Employee Virtual Work program. She also applied her skills to Supply Chain Management transformation by leaning the sourcing process, outsourcing processes, and migrating to a flexible ERP technology platform. Her work enabled the effective processing of a 2x increase in sourceable spend from $30B to $60B driven by two major merger integrations.

Gail has a unique perspective on leading in financial institutions through her cross functional experience in Mortgage, Investment Management and Commercial Lending lines of business. In each business, she has worked through business strategies, reducing organizational and process complexities, and has also excelled in a line role by driving double digit revenue increases.

Gail lives in Atlanta, Georgia where she and her husband have raised their children. She is active in her community and currently sits on the Harvard Business School African American Alumni Association Board of Directors and has served as a Board member for the Global Harvard Business School Alumni Board, Board Chair and President of the Harvard Business School Club of Atlanta, and as a Director of the Trust for Public Land Advisory Board. Gail is a member of Leadership Atlanta and the recipient of the 25 Most Influential Black Women in Business Award in 2018.
