Joy is a Managing Director with extensive global experience in the executive search world. With experience across a variety of industries and functions, Joy has a focus on the marketing, digital and technology functions across a broad range of industries. She provides customer-centric leadership services by advising clients on their talent strategies, organizational design, and market initiatives.
Prior to Modern, Joy led the Diversity Practice for The Tayler Group, a boutique search firm focused on the FinTech industry. Joy served as a Managing Director at Ellig Group specializing in placing diverse talent across the financial services industry. She began her career at Ellig, before serving in an intermediary role at Marlin Hawk, where she led senior mandates globally in digital technology, commercial, general management, and corporate functions.
Joy holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Sciences from New York University's College of Arts and Sciences and a Master's in Public Administration from Baruch's Marx School of Public Affairs. She currently resides in New York City with her partner, Karlye, and pitbull, Blaise.
