Marcelo Modica is a seasoned human resources executive and current Chief People Officer at OneTrust. Most recently, he was the Chief People Officer at Robinhood. Previously, he was Chief People Officer for Mercer, a consulting company focused on advancing the health, wealth and career needs of a changing workforce. He was responsible for Mercer’s People strategy, aligning it with the company's purpose, mission, strategic and values to service Mercer’s 25,000 colleagues in 40+ countries.
He also has significant experience in the financial services sector, most recently at JP Morgan Chase, as General Manager for Chase Hispanic Customers. Prior to this role, Marcelo served as Managing Director & Head of Human Resources for Chase’s Consumer & Business Banking. Marcelo’s previous work experience includes serving as SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer for Discover Financial Services, developing and leading Discover’s talent strategy and Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. Marcelo also sits on the board of Gregory’s Coffee and is a Business Council Member of HERE to HERE, a Bronx-based non-profit connecting employers with young people to create a thriving, inclusive economy. He holds a M.A., Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a B.A., Psychology from Siena College.
