Who we are

We've built the world’s largest network of large enterprise CHROs, representing 25 countries and over 350 companies averaging 75,000 employees. This is the first of our M1 communities, with more to come. Membership is open to firms with at least 10,000 employees, with some exceptions. Contact us about applying to join.

Modern CHRO Academy

How it works

Now entering its third year, the Modern CHRO Academy has become one of the leading programs for new and aspiring CHROs. The program runs annually from January to September, featuring monthly virtual sessions, a three-day in-person session in March 2026, and a two-day in-person session with graduation in September 2026. Participants work in six-person cohorts, and each leader is paired with a personal coach throughout the nine-month experience. Together, they complete a comprehensive leadership workbook designed to help define purpose, values, and a personalized growth plan.

The 2026 class includes 50 leaders from organizations such as Novartis, Eli Lilly, Bank of America, UPS, Gap, Trimble, Schneider Electric, SAP, Philips, BMO, Kraft Heinz, GE Vernova, Adecco, Securitas, Truist, S&P Global, Tractor Supply, Kohler, Cardinal Health, AdventHealth, Advocate Health, Emory Healthcare, and Newell Brands, among others.

Several companies have enrolled multiple leaders, with many returning from prior classes, reflecting true “academy thinking,” developing CHROs for the world, not just for themselves.
