With more than a decade and a half of experience advising executives and businesses, AJ specializes in designing, creating, and refining top team talent strategy.
Prior to joining Modern, AJ spent seven years at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on advising senior executives and boards on growth strategy and top team talent. During his tenure at McKinsey, he co-founded and led McKinsey Talent Services, which evolved their top team talent approach to take a holistic view, including corporate strategy and top team design through re-org implementation, execution, and operating model. He also co-founded and led an incubator for next-gen talent concepts, driving several innovations in capability building and further expanding the talent offering.
Before joining McKinsey, AJ spent more than a decade advising executives on their personal finances and compensation packages, as well as family business owners on how to structure and operate for success. He continues to have a passion for advising his clients on how they can achieve success both in and beyond the office.
AJ holds an MBA from Duke University, a Master’s Degree in Financial Services from The American College, and a BS in Bioengineering from Lehigh University.
