I chose to join Modern because of the exceptional people and their commitment to creating a supportive and hands-on work environment. The team’s genuine care for both employees and clients makes the work feel meaningful and personalized.

Anika Flik is an associate at Modern, where she specializes in connecting top talent with various opportunities. Anika first joined the team as a summer intern, during which she discovered her passion for the executive search industry and honed her skills in research and talent sourcing.

Prior to Modern, Anika completed an internship at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in the Quality Control Virology department, where she helped develop a new data management system.

Anika completed her B.A. in Psychological Science at Colgate University, where she developed a strong understanding of human behavior and conducted a thesis about invisible labor in households and how it affects members of the family. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, knitting, and playing tennis!
