I was attracted to Modern because, even from the application, I could tell that this was a company that prioritized giving back to communities. When I began to interview, everyone was extremely kind and passionate about their work, and it made me very excited about the opportunity to be a part of the team.

Courtney Abdul-Aziz is a proud graduate of Cornell University, where she majored in Policy Analysis and Management with a minor in Inequality Studies. Deeply passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly within the education system, Courtney was actively involved in her college’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Group. There, she worked to create more equitable experiences for all students and played a key role in recruiting diverse talent to campus.

Currently at Modern, she is seated within the Technology practice on the executive side of the business. She assists with the researching and interviewing process to help place top candidates with our clients.

Outside of work, you can find her rewatching the Harry Potter movies, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and trying out new matcha spots around the city!
