Ellie Martel Gardner is a Managing Director at Modern Executive Solutions, with a cross functional focus in financial services and real estate. Ellie has more than 20 years of experience in recruiting a wide variety of functions within those industries including legal, risk, and finance.

Prior to Modern, Ellie was a Managing Associate at Korn Ferry in the Financial Services, Real Estate and Legal practices. She was previously focused on real estate executive-level searches with a boutique firm largely devoted to C-Level, asset management, acquisitions, development, operations, and financial roles. Before executive recruiting, Ellie was an Atlanta-based litigation lawyer representing physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases as well as handling fraud and arson cases.

Ellie received her B.A. in Political Science from Furman University and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law.
