Laurie Rosenfield is a Senior Partner at Modern Executive Solutions in the firm’s Sports, Media and Entertainment practice. As a former operating executive on the content side and more recently in Chief People Officer roles, Laurie brings first-hand experience in building best-in-class teams. She’s a trusted partner to the C-suite, company boards, and PE firms seeking to align or realign executive teams, accelerate profitable growth, and reaffirm values.

Prior to Modern, Laurie was Co-Lead of the Media, Entertainment and Communications practice at JM Search. She ran HR as Chief People Officer at the communications firm Hill & Knowlton and at CBS Corporation, where was itsfirst Chief People Officer. In that role, Laurie led with a mandate to rebuild the company’s corporate culture and transform HR into an industry-leading talent service partner adept at strategically anticipating change.

Laurie was also the Managing Director of the Talent practice at MediaLink, a strategic digital media advisory firm working in the marketing, advertising, entertainment and technology sectors. Earlier in her career, she rose from story editor to the leader of the NY office of United Artists and 20th Century Fox, building her creative muscle while scouting for content to acquire and develop.

Laurie is an alumna of Dartmouth College. She’s an advisor and mentor to multiple startups and is a member of the board of STRIVE, a leading job career development nonprofit. She is on the advisory board of Modern Health, a company that provides mental health care for employees. She has appeared on local television news as a career advisor and has led interviews on TONE Networks, a professional development and wellbeing platform.
