Michelle Domanico is Co-Founder & Board Member of Modern Executive Solutions, where she continues to support the firm’s long-term strategy and success. As Modern’s former Chief Operating Officer, Michelle helped grow the company from an idea into a professional services firm generating more than $40 million in annual revenue. Over six years, she played an instrumental role in shaping Modern’s strategy, operations, team, and culture while expanding its solutions and delivery capabilities.
Michelle also founded the Modern Giving Foundation, advancing Modern’s commitment to supporting organizations focused on education, health, economic opportunity, and underserved communities. She currently serves on the Georgia board of Greenhouse Scholars. Her previous community leadership includes serving on the regional board of 100 Women in Finance and mentoring transitioning military veterans through American Corporate Partners.
Prior to co-founding Modern, Michelle spent more than a decade investing in high-yield credit at KKR and Shenkman Capital, with roles spanning New York, San Francisco, and London. In 2016, she was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Finance.
Michelle earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Legal Studies. Her interests include entrepreneurship, private-equity-backed businesses, and building and scaling high-performing organizations.
