Moises Velilla is a Managing Director in the Technology Practice at Modern Executive Solutions, where he specializes in advising clients on executive talent strategy and recruiting transformative technology and professional services leaders. He brings deep expertise in executive search, market intelligence, and leadership assessment, partnering with organizations to identify and attract senior executives across enterprise technology, digital transformation, go-to-market, consulting, and technical delivery functions.
Moises has nearly a decade of experience in executive search and talent advisory, with a strong track record supporting Fortune 500 companies, private equity-backed businesses, and high-growth organizations across a broad range of industries. He is known for his ability to build trusted relationships with executive leaders, develop highly targeted search strategies, and deliver exceptional candidate and client experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Prior to joining Modern, Moises spent nearly 8 years at JM Search, where he most recently served as Vice President within the firm’s Technology and Professional Services practices. During his tenure, he led executive recruiting engagements for senior technology and business leaders, advised clients on talent market dynamics, and helped drive business development initiatives across the practice.
Before transitioning into executive search, Moises spent his early career at Freedom Mortgage as a Mortgage Loan Officer and also held professional roles with Brandywine Global Investment Management and Chubb/ACE Group, where he gained experience across investment management, financial analysis, technology operations, and business process improvement.
Moises earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Organizational Management from Drexel University LeBow College of Business.
