Phil Blue, PhD, PCC is a Managing Director at Modern Executive Solutions, where he advises CEOs and executive teams on leadership strategy, team effectiveness, and organizational transformation. Known for helping leaders turn insight into sustained performance, Phil has guided executive transitions, aligned senior teams, and shaped leadership cultures that drive business results.
With more than a decade of experience in leadership consulting, coaching, and assessment, Phil has supported more than 200 senior executives across Fortune 100 companies, startups, and nonprofits. He helps build stronger succession pipelines, accelerate executive transitions, and elevate the performance of leadership teams by improving alignment, trust, and enterprise decision-making.
Fluent in Mandarin and Spanish, Phil brings a global lens shaped by his work across North America, Asia, and Latin America. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Peking University, an M.A. in Transformational Leadership, and a B.A. from Carleton College. He is certified in Hogan, Hogan 360, and CliftonStrengths, and is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
