Scott Macfarlane has 17 years of global experience in executive search & strategic advisory. Scott helps organizations transform through creative solutions that align Leadership, Structure and Strategy. His recent work includes Organizational Strategy, Talent Strategy, CXO Effectiveness, M&A, Executive Search and Succession, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Assessment & Leadership Development. He has extensive experience across Financial Services, Technology, & Private Equity including portfolio companies in Healthcare, Industrial and Consumer sectors. His search work is typically focused on business transformation & change, including recent projects delivering Digital Transformation, HR Optimization & Regulatory Response.
Prior to joining Modern, Scott was a Senior Partner and Global Account Leader at Korn Ferry in their Financial Services Practice based in their New York office for 5 years. Prior to his time in New York, Scott held a variety of consulting and leadership positions for Korn Ferry spanning Advisory, Search and Outsourcing services in Asia Pacific and Europe working across a range of industries.
He received a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Scott has been a board member at numerous sports and rescue services organizations and is an active member of the American Australian Association and other community organizations.
