His work spans multiple industries across public, private, and non-profit organizations. He partners to implement culture change, leadership and talent strategy, CEO and C-Suite succession; leadership development and team effectiveness.
Prior to Modern, Shane was a Senior Director with YSC Consulting, now part of Accenture. Here, he spent 12 years building and leading subsidiary businesses, teams, and client partnerships across Europe and North America. A particular highlight was his five years in the Bay Area, where he worked with private equity firms, venture capital investors, and Silicon Valley’s most prominent technology companies.
Shane is a chartered Organizational Psychologist and ICF-accredited Team, Board, and Systemic coach. He has published numerous articles, ranging from implementing DEI strategy, to using coaching principles to foster employee engagement, to fathers’ experiences of paternal life which informed UK parental/family leave policy.
He attained a distinction in his Masters in Organizational Psychology from the University of Surrey. It was here where he met his wife, and the county where they now live with their two fast-growing children.
