Jennifer Swasey


Clients and candidates are looking for a 360-degree experience in talent advisory where they continue to be served long after the engagement. When I was introduced to Modern, not only did they have a different approach to talent advisory, but they were able to demonstrate their commitment to their mission, purpose, and values which was essential for me.

Jen has over 20 years of experience in finance, operations, data, systems, legal, and HR within the professional services industry. Specifically, she has 9 years of experience building and scaling businesses in the executive search and talent advisory sector. Jen’s success for scaling businesses is built upon strategy development, leadership, forecasting & modeling, technology advancement & innovation, project management and execution.

Prior to joining Modern, Jen was the COO at Chasm Partners. As COO, she was responsible for overseeing and executing across all areas of operations and finance to include data, systems, and HR with her team.

Previously, Jen spent 7 years with Bespoke Partners as their CFO where she built the financial and operational infrastructure and team. She also managed the acquisition and setup of multiple satellite offices in the US.

Jen earned her ALM in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Harvard (2022), MBA from Strayer University (2013), and BS in Economics from Texas A&M (2003). She is the proud wife of a retired, 25 year Naval Officer and mother to two gorgeous girls and several farm animals. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, skiing, swimming, traveling, and hanging out on her farm with her family.
