Katayoun is a Partner within Modern's Search and Advisory practices and spanning across all sectors. She has more 20 years of professional experience in both industry as well as advisory firms in human capital and management consulting. For the past 15 years, she has held leadership roles in building and growing markets across EMEA, Asia, and the United States. As a seasoned leader and a versatile C-level strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies, Katayoun integrates data intelligence, behavioral science, and modern technology to help her clients make future-focused and human-centric business decisions. Katayoun’s experience spans a wide range of industries including financial, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and retail.

Before joining Modern, Katayoun was a Sr. Director, Employee Experience at WTW. She was responsible for developing and growing WTW’s Employee Experience services, helping clients optimize key touchpoints in the talent lifecycle including talent assessment and management, total rewards optimization, remote/hybrid work, performance management, well-being, DEI, and ESG.

Before WTW, Katayoun was the lead Partner at Gallup working internationally across EMEA and the U.S. for nearly 13 years. At Gallup, Katayoun advised some of the world’s most renowned organizations on the design, development, and execution of organizational effectiveness programs including talent management, leadership development, and succession planning. Katayoun helped start up Gallup’s offices in the Middle East and significantly expanded the growth of Gallup’s advisory services across Europe and Africa.

Katayoun received her B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington, she is a M.A. candidate at UCSD’ school of Global Policy and Strategy and has been involved in youth mentoring and development programs throughout her life.
