Christie Smith, PhD has more than 35 years of leadership and management experience. She leads Modern’s Integrated Solutions Business.
Christie recently retired as Senior Managing Director and member of the Global Management Team at Accenture. While there, she was the Global Leader of the Talent & Organization Practice that focused on serving clients on issues of leadership & culture, CEO & Board advisory, skilling, and organizational capabilities. Before joining Accenture, Christie was the Chief Diversity Officer at Apple and prior to Apple, she was a Managing Principal at Deloitte, LLP. Christie currently serves on the Board of Directors at Endo International, Beamery, and A.Team.
Christie is a frequently sought-after speaker on leadership, strategy, talent, inclusion & diversity and people analytics, technologies, and AI. She has been covered by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Forbes, and CNN.
Christie received her PhD at New York University in Industrial Organizational Psychology.
